Who We Are

Rooted in the Word. Led by the Spirit.

Committed to the Great Commission.

Who We Are

We are a non-denominational, Bible-teaching church on a mission to obey the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19:

“GO therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

Our heart is to teach God’s Word with clarity, encourage people to live by faith, and lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We love the Lord and embrace all God’s people, walking in truth, love, and grace.

You’ll find us both in the church and active in the community serving, supporting, and sharing the hope of Christ wherever we go. This is more than a ministry it’s a movement of discipleship, purpose, and encouragement.

Vision:

The Great Commission Christian Church is a multi-cultural organization  equipping and empowering disciples to GO into the world, share Christ's love  and proclaim saving grace in the community and beyond, Matthew 28:19.

                                                                  Mission:

To prepare disciples for the mission field, to boldly confess salvation, deliverance from the captives and to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

What We Believe

At Great Commission Christian Church (TGC3), our beliefs are grounded in the Holy Scriptures and centered on Jesus Christ. We exist to glorify God, make disciples, and live out the Gospel through worship, teaching, service, and love.

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, and the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

God

We believe in one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is sovereign, holy, loving, and just.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a

sinless life, was crucified, died, and was buried for our sins. On the third day He rose

from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and
faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not earned by works but is freely given by God.

Eternal Life

We believe that eternal life begins after death, either in heaven or hell, and that
one’s eternal destiny is determined by their response to Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the indwelling and baptism of the Holy Spirit, who empowers
believers to live holy lives and to fulfill the Great Commission.

We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance.

Ordinances

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion following salvation as a public testimony of new life in Christ.

The Lord’s Supper

We observe Communion as a sacred memorial of Christ’s sacrifice, open to all believers.

Divine Healing

We believe in divine healing and that Jesus Christ is our Healer. Healing is provided through His atoning work and received by faith.

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate God’s love to the world.

Christian Living

We believe followers of Christ are called to live lives that honor God, reflect biblical holiness, and submit to the authority of Scripture, while walking in love, grace, and truth.

Giving & Stewardship

We believe in tithes and offerings as acts of worship and obedience, and in caring for the poor, the sick, and those in need.

The Blessed Hope

We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and the catching away of believers to meet Him in the air.

Our Commitment

Our beliefs are not merely statements, we seek to live them out through worship,
prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and service.
